During a trek from Hsipaw to Kyaukme in Myanmar I slept in small isolated villages along the way. One of these villages had a big "funeral party". One villager died and all the people from the nearby villages came to celebrate. There were about a hundred of kids that are not used to tourists at all, so they were more curious about me than me about them. They were begging for pictures until the sun went down. This was really a special moment for me which I haven't experienced on my journeys so far.
