Meet Diana.

After a successful outing having met Jamie and Richard earlier, was heading back to my car since I was late for a prior commitment. But as luck would have it I saw Diana walking in my direction with a friend and immediately the stranger alert went off. I was in a dilemma since I knew this was bound to be a rushed encounter but not wanting to lose a opportunity to photograph this wonderful lady I made my request. Diana (as a few other strangers) seemed a little unsure and hesitant. Her friend, protective as any friend should be, asked me a few questions related to the intent of the project and how these pics would be used.

Throughout this project, I have had business cards that provide my contact information and link to my FB photography page - but having run out of these I had just placed a order for a new set. As luck would have it this was the second instance that day where someone requested a card - and my explanation as honest as it was just appeared like a futile excuse. For those of you who are contemplating doing this project, that's one unsolicited advise iI would give - print yourself some cards.

Luckily Diana after some deliberation agreed to participate and we shot a few pictures with this striking woman with a great smile and sharp look and a happy vibe (and should add a twinkle in her eyes and a spring in her step).

Diana is a director of facilities and sustainability for a private school. Her hobbies including playing any sport and being a ambassador for the environment and healthy living. Her favorite memory was travelling to Europe.

She considers her tenacity her biggest strength. When asked about what she loves most of herself Diana replied it was her sense of humor, kindness and her ability to relate to people. Taking care of other people is what makes her happy. One can only say we definitely need more people like her in this world.

Thank you Diana (and to your friend) for taking the time to be part of these pictures and trusting a stranger. It was nice making your acquaintance. My apologies for the rush and not being able to engage with a proper conversation but you'll were such a sport despite that. All the very best for the future.
